I attended another wedding done by New Beginnings DJ's. They were amazing, so I booked them for mine. They were amazing at my event. Rick read the crowd, and got to know Devan and I before hand. He was not just in charge of the music, but MC-ed the event. It was fun and spunky just like we wanted. Rick was great! Very nice and helpful while planning the event and super attentive to details and our happiness during our reception. During the reception I had people commenting on how much fun they were having and how much they were enjoying the music, now we haven't even been married a week and I already have someone asking who the DJ was to use for their wedding! My favorite part was that Rick had us play a new game that involved not only the entire bridal party, but also all of our 450+ guests! Between the music, game and special toasts, Rick really helped us make the reception personal to my new husband and I. I only wish the night never had to end!-Sara 07-2012
I enjoyed that you were there on time and wasn't rushing to set stuff up, I like that Rick helped the wedding party get down the isle while holding my dress :), music was awesome and played at the appropriate times...great dinner music and great dance music! Loved how the tables were dismissed for the buffet. The game was super fun and entertaining for all guests while eating dinner. Took requests and was really awesome at directing traffic, making announcements and just keeping the party going! Super professional and I LOVED that he referred to us as Mr & Mrs Nagel after we were married!!-Jill 09-2012
As a guest and relative at the San**no/S***by wedding party I was so impressed how the D.J. interacted with Bride, Groom, Wedding party as well as guests. I really felt he went above and beyond as he interacted making everyone feel welcome. He actually felt like he was part of the family. This is by far the best D.J. I've seen at any weddings in my past. Superb job! I was amazed how many different things he had going for the wedding and music to galore. He was always on his toes ready to go. ROCK ON!!!!! Patty I. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rick! We were married on Saturday November 5th, 2011 and Rick not only made sure the reception ran smoothly, he also made sure that I (the bride) ate dinner! He also made sure the wedding party got drinks for the bride and groom! Talk about going the extra mile. Rick was part DJ part wedding planner! Flexibility... I rate New Beginnings at a 10! We did Rock Band at our wedding and Rick was great at working with us and organizing everything to run just perfect. There are not enough words, at all to describe the service we received. My only regret, I didn't make sure that Rick ate.... I hope he did.-Matt & Heather 2011-
New Beginnings DJ was fantastic. Rick helped us plan the entire reception and ensured that everything ran smoothly. He had some amazing ideas for having our families involved in special ways. He adapted the music on the fly as necessary and even led a few dances (eg, electric slide, etc.). There is no way we could list all of the wonderful things Rick and the team did, nor can we adequately articulate just how incredibly happy we are with the way he ran the reception. I didn't have to worry about a thing! We booked this DJ on very short notice after my original DJ backed out. My family and I made lots of last-minute song changes at the reception and the DJ Allen & Tim never complained or questioned us. Most importantly, I learned that my guests didn't really like the same music I put on my priority list. No one was dancing! The DJs were able to gauge the crowd and pick appropriate songs. Furthermore, I didn't have to plan what would be done when. The DJ and his assistant were both so professional and did all of the event coordination for us. DJ Allen did an awesome job! He kept the reception going and fun and the best part was my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing as he took care of when to do what and so forth. The music we danced to was great as well. I LOVED the shoe game as did our guests and we had many compliments on how great of a job he did by our guests afterwards.
Thank you Allen for making our wedding and reception that much more memorable and fun! We will be having New Beginnings do our annual Luau!!!
